The Blue-Footed Boobie Video
Sorry this is not an educational video, but it is great fun to watch 🙂

The excercise has been very useful.
Hello Liz, first of all Thank You for your materials, it’s really helpful for a student like me who will take the exam after 2 weeks. Regarding CBT, does the speed of talk of the speaker similar to the PBT? I find it hard to type the answers in my keyboard when i tried to answer this question. Thanks
Go to the BC IELTS website. You will find a free full practice test. That is the best way to get to know the speed for listening.
Hi mam!
Your listening exercise designed very well. It really helped a lot.
hi, I’m about to take my IELTS exam here in USA. I am just wondering if there are any updates on the writing exams procedure? Are we still going use paper and pencil to answer task 1 and 2? or do we need to type in our answers/ essays? I just heard that it from somebody but I’m not really sure.
anyway, thanks in advance for answering. 🙂
Each test centre is different. You need to ask your test centre which test you have registered for and whether there is the option to do the Computer Delivered IELTS test.
Liz, ma’am you teach in a way that anyone can understand with ease love the way you teach on 28th September 2019 I’ll be giving my ielts your free materials are helping me a lot. Although I have joined a coaching as well!
Good luck!
Did you ask the exam center?? I think in USA they don’t have computer case ielts..
Actually, This the first time I hear about that bird, Thank you, Liz, for both Scientific and linguistic benefit, Thanks a lot for your Efforts, Hopefully, get a satisfying score :*
I’m really pleased you like this lesson. I also was surprised to learn about this bird 🙂

I WANT TO KNOW IF THE TRANSCRIPT IS GIVEN FOR THE LISTENING TEST.
It is a listening test – why would they give you the transcript? You use transcripts for practice at home to improve your skills. It is NOT given in the test.
3. Why is the answer “stupid” and not “bobo”?
Because the question asks for the translation, the meaning.
Is it okay to hit pause in order to write answers during the test?
You do not control the timing in the listening test. There is no pause button.

Hi Liz
Thanks for your wonderful lessons. They are fantastic.
I have a doubt regarding listening test. I was giving a listening test and while checking the answers I found that some of the answers were had words in brackets, like for an example
(at) Reception. I want to know that if the student writes just Reception, then is it right or wrong?
Thanks
